Everybody Can See the Way You See Them
Ever think about how the way we see people is obvious to people?
Notice how often our Christian teachings and commentaries refer to the man in Luke 5:17–26 as “the man who was paralyzed” — or worse, flippantly, “the paralytic” — not “the man who was healed.”
I just caught my own self doing that in my posts before today, so I’m changing that language today.
